1,what ways does my media product use develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media product?

To start are production in form of a short film does not heavily challenge conventions as are production uses many of clichés of horror films such as low uses of lighting and the main character dying by the end which fits the conventions of the Lovecraftian sub genre we did as well as this we the short run time is also to the conventions of a short film. Another way in which we have conformed to convections is that we used the platform to show are production are on YouTube which is common for short films with little to know budget like Ares, as well demonstrated this by ensuring the sounds used gave a cold and scary atmosphere which is common in short horror film as music is used to build setting I have done the same this also makes it fit the conventions, as well as this the music used it self is convectional as it is atmospheric  music used to unsettle the audience this is also common among the horror genre as a whole. Although in one we break from this in one way is in the way death is shown as we do not see a gruesome death which is common among this sub genre and horror as a whole as well as this with a all male cast and having no female damsel in distress character for the hero to save which is also common among horror films this is one of the few in which we don't as well as this I also ensured we broke the research which I did which was 50% of it was done by me ,I found that this was common among many of the other horror film based on hp lovecraft although there was at least one female character.

2,how did you use media techoiolgise in the contrition and research,planing and evaluation?

firstly we used blogger to present the whole thing in which we would update as we made progress and added updates as well as this we also uploaded all the filmed material such as focus group and first draft of the production as well as any sound recoding's used in the production and as well also any video used in the evaluation as well as this we also used YouTube to do some rearch for how to uses the technology such as finials cut we used this in my evaluation and research as well as this i have  used blogger to resent the entire thing.

From when i have started in as i had no knowledge of how to use blogger and failed to set my different pages as well as this is had been unable to figure out how to show them on the blog and how to find each page ,as you can see this is no longer true as over the past year from the beginning of as and the start of a2 medulla i have learnt how to proficacy use blogger and upload videos and images to the site as well as this i have leant to set up a page effective so you see exactly each one and what each page has on it.

In the achuacal making of the film it self we continued to use final cut to edit our production i as the editor are still as proficient as i was and have gotten use to using it to do so as well as this i have gotten much better at usesing it to pick upon my mistakes such as shots which may be tove  long as well as this i have been able to fine tune and it takes less time to get a better result.

As well as this we also have used a Varity of different music than in as from free sound and have stuck more to convection in terms of music used and gathered though uses of free sound this differs from last units music video which is gathered from sound cloud and we had to get the creators permission as it was copy righted.

Also in the presentation of analysis of media works which we had done in the research stage I used prizie to show shots where relevant and anyisies next to them ,it is easy and effective way of showing this and I have used it all the way from as although I now understand how to put this on to the blog which  did not know how to do at the beginning of last year and so had to learn how to do so.

this unit was also different because we had a smaller group so those who need to uses the technology is much larger as we both effectively used priszie although I did most of the editing in finial cut and so there for had to try and improve a lot from last year in this respect.

3,what have you learnt from your audience feedback?

From are feedback we have so far on are main production are that we  need to improve are

1. location of filming
2. add other shots to build tension in the running  scene
